Odoo QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Odoo QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in ERP application testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Odoo ERP solutions through effective testing strategies, requirement analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates with experience in other ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, or NetSuite are also encouraged to apply.

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience in ERP/Application Testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, UAT, sanity, and smoke testing for Odoo ERP applications and modules.
• Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Understand business requirements and participate in requirement gathering discussions with stakeholders.
• Validate ERP workflows, business processes, and system integrations.
• Conduct API testing to ensure seamless communication between systems and applications.
• Identify, track, report, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in test execution, bug tracking, regression testing, and release validation activities.
• Ensure application quality, usability, performance, and reliability across different environments.
• Stay updated with ERP testing methodologies and QA best practices.

Must Have:

• Experience in Odoo ERP Testing. Candidates with experience in other ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, or NetSuite can also be considered.
• Strong expertise in creating Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Experience in Requirement Gathering and understanding business workflows.
• Hands-on experience in Integration Testing, UAT Testing, Sanity Testing, and Smoke Testing.
• Experience in API Testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of Black Box Testing and White Box Testing.
• Experience attending client or sales calls for requirement discussions.
• Exposure to Project Management activities and coordination.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
