Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with 5+ years of experience who can primarily build cross-platform mobile apps using React Native (≈60%) and also develop/extend Native Android modules (≈40%) for performance, platform-specific features, and integrations.
You will take ownership of architecture and delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality releases to the Play Store (and ideally App Store as well).

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and build scalable mobile applications using React Native.
  • Develop and maintain native Android modules (and coordinate with iOS counterparts when needed) for performance-critical or platform-specific capabilities.
  • Translate business/product requirements into technical solutions, estimates, and delivery plans.
  • Drive mobile architecture decisions focused on performance, maintainability, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend services via APIs, ensuring reliable connectivity, data sync, and offline support where required.
  • Lead code quality initiatives: code standards, reviews, best practices, and performance optimizations.
  • Mentor junior/mid developers, provide technical guidance, and support skill development within the team.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and Backend teams in an agile setup (sprint planning, issue tracking, release coordination).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve app stability and user experience.
  • Stay updated on mobile ecosystem trends, tools, and frameworks; recommend improvements to workflows and tooling.
Requirements (Must Have)
  • 5+ years of mobile development experience with strong hands-on work in:
    • React Native (primary focus)
    • Native Android development (Kotlin/Java)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native patterns, and mobile app lifecycle.
  • Experience with native bridging / integrating RN with native modules.
  • Proven ability to architect, deploy, and maintain production-grade mobile applications.
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization, debugging, memory management, and app responsiveness.
  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices.
  • Experience shipping apps via Play Store (App Store experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work in client-facing or cross-functional environments.
  • Ownership mindset: able to contribute as an individual contributor while also leading/mentoring.
Good to Have (Nice to Have)
  • iOS native module exposure (Swift/Objective-C) or ability to coordinate iOS native counterparts.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release automation, and monitoring/crash analytics.
  • Experience embedding web components in native apps.
  • Background working on enterprise-grade apps or offshore client projects.
  • Open-source contributions / public GitHub work.
